In our June issue, we're focusing on working with Teams and Groups
Working with teams and groups is one of the most meaningful and energising aspects of my work. There is something powerful about facilitating a Team Coaching session and witnessing a team move through challenges toward a breakthrough moment.
Facilitating a group gathered around a shared purpose—such as navigating grief or enhancing work-life balance—is equally meaningful, yet the process is different from team coaching. While both involve creating a safe and purposeful space for reflection, dialogue, and learning, they require distinct skills, intentions, and facilitation approaches.
Understanding these similarities and differences is essential for practitioners who want to work effectively with both teams and groups.
For those interested in developing as a Team Coach, we offer the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.
For those who would like to strengthen their skills in facilitating groups, we are offering Facilitation Skills with Groups & Teams on 10–11 August.
Both programs support practitioners in working more effectively with collective conversations, while recognising the distinct skills required for team coaching and group facilitation. Details are listed below.
